Shopify is under App Store review and is not available for public connection yet. The capabilities below describe the implemented integration. You can connect eBay, Square or WooCommerce today.
Orders cover the last 60 days, and buyer name, email, phone and shipping address are not returned: protected customer data access is under review with Shopify. Store MCP neither requests nor returns those fields until it is granted.

Writes need a paid plan, permission and provider support. Actual grants may be narrower.
Orders and fulfillment
Read order status, remaining fulfillable quantities and shipments. Supported Shopify fulfillment tasks include partial quantities and tracking updates. Order history and buyer details depend on the access Shopify grants.
Products and inventory
Create drafts, update supported product and variant fields, attach images by URL and publish to the Online Store. Check stock by variant and location; set a quantity or apply an adjustment.
Alerts and protected actions
Configured Shopify events cover created, paid, canceled, shipped and delivered orders. Set destinations in Store MCP. Refunds, cancellations and store disconnection require owner approval in the browser.

Does this replace Shopify?
No. Shopify remains your storefront and store administration system. Store MCP gives authorized AI tools a way to use supported seller operations.
Can I start without allowing changes?
Yes. Choose View only when authorizing your AI. The Free plan is also read-only for marketplace operations.
Is this Shopify’s official Storefront MCP?
