Keep selling on your existing channels. Store MCP connects supported Shopify, eBay, Square and WooCommerce seller operations; it does not replace your point of sale, storefront or accounting tools.
Your AI gets useful store access
Ask ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or another compatible AI tool about orders, listings and stock. MCP is the connection standard behind the scenes, not another dashboard you need to learn.
You decide what it can do
Start with View only access. Add permission for supported changes when you are ready, limit access to selected stores and review a readable record of AI actions.
How it works
- Connect an available sales channel in Store MCP. Marketplace onboarding depends on the channel’s launch availability.
- Add the Store MCP connection to your preferred AI using its setup guide.
- Choose which stores the AI may access and whether it can only read or also make supported changes.
- Ask a real store question. Use the Store MCP website for connections, permissions, notification destinations and action history.
Supported work and its limits
Order reads
Inspect orders and status across connected stores. Shopify supports fulfillment writes, browser-approved refunds and cancellations, subject to provider limits. eBay, Square and WooCommerce orders are read-only; complete order changes in the provider.
Listings and inventory
Create drafts, update supported details, review images and set stock for a specific store. Marketplace requirements still apply. This is not automatic listing cross-posting or stock synchronization.
Events and notifications
Shopify delivers order lifecycle events through app webhooks. eBay, Square and WooCommerce order-event ingestion is not included; the site states event coverage before a destination is configured.

Does Store MCP keep a copy of all my orders?
It does not maintain a full replica of marketplace orders or customer records. It does retain operational records such as event identifiers, safe action summaries and results needed to recognize repeated changes. Authorized responses also reach your chosen AI provider; its data policies apply.
