How it works
- Select the destination store and inspect an existing listing or the required category details.
- Ask your AI to prepare a draft or a specific field change, preserving facts and variation structure.
- On Starter or higher with write access, apply the reviewed update and inspect the resulting listing and media status.
- Publish only after the marketplace requirements and content have been checked. Confirm the final publication state.

Drafts, text and price
Read listings, create supported drafts or catalog items and update typed fields. Each platform retains its own price, SKU and variation models.
Images and ordering
Shopify and WooCommerce support the connector’s typed media operations. Square does not expose media writes; unsupported actions are rejected instead of sent as raw provider requests.
Requirements and publishing
Check categories, required attributes, policies and locations before publishing. Supported unpublish actions remove availability according to the channel’s model; they do not all mean permanent deletion.
Questions before you connect?
Does Store MCP automatically cross-post listings?
No. It does not automatically copy a listing to every marketplace. Each destination needs a deliberate create or update request with the correct requirements.
Will a draft appear publicly right away?
Draft creation and publishing are separate operations. Always verify the resulting state in the destination store before assuming a listing is public.
Can AI add any marketplace-specific field?
No. Store MCP exposes supported, validated fields rather than an unrestricted API request. The AI should report unsupported fields instead of claiming an update happened.
